Greek's Dilshad Vadsaria Joins Revenge For Season 2

If ever there were a character on ABC Family's Greek who seemed somewhat suited for the kind of drama that goes on in Revenge, it's Rebecca Logan. Dilshad Vadsaria's character proved to be steep social opposition for Spencer Grammer's Casey Cartwright, and there was a sneaky streak in her that served the show's never-ending stream of drama nicely. Between that and her upperclass background, I think she'd stand a chance of holding up in the wealthy, drama-filled world of Revenge. Needless to say, if I had to pick a Greek cast member to play a recurring role on Revenge, it would be Vadsaria, so this is definitely good news.

TVLine has reported that Vadsaria is joining ABC's Revenge in a recurring role in Season 2, playing "Padma, a gorgeous, fiercely intelligent, pop culture savvy financial whiz who brings her own spin to her job at Nolan’s (Gabriel Mann) company." From the sound of it, love may be on the menu for Padma and Nolan. TVLine says rumor has it, Vadsaria's character is the love interest Revenge executive producer Mike Kelley hinted at recently.

Padma certainly sounds like a fun character and a great role for Vadsaria, whose appearances in film and television since Greek wrapped up have been limited to an episode of Melissa & Joey and the film 30 Minutes Or Less, in which she played Aziz Ansari's sister and the love interest to Jesse Eisenberg. I've been hoping we'd see her pop up in more projects. Not only is this great news for Revenge, but I'm also eager to see what kind of chemistry she has with Gabriel Mann when Padma and Nolan join forces in the series' upcoming second season.
