HBO To Air A Matter Of Taste: Serving Up Paul Liebrandt Documentary This Monday

Foodies and fans of culinary related TV shows and specials may want to check out HBO this Monday night. The pay-cable network is set to air a documentary on chef Paul Liebrandt. The film follows his attempts to establish his career and make a name for himself in New York City.

Making it as an artist in New York is a dream likely shared by many of the city’s residents. This includes those struggling to find their niche in the culinary arts in a city full of great food and talented chefs. A Matter of Taste: Serving Up Paul Liebrandt documents the highs and lows of Liebrandt’s career over the course of years. The film, which marks Sally Rowe’s directorial debut, includes interviews featuring Thomas Keller (chef-owner of Per Se), Eric Ripert (chef and co-owner of Le Bernardin, host of PBS’ Avec Eric) and other known chefs and restaurateurs.
