Hemlock Grove's New Poster Reveals The Monster Within
Among the upcoming original offerings at Netflix, in addition to the return of Arrested Development, is Eli Roth's horror drama Hemlock Grove, which arrives next month. Following the creepy new trailer that released earlier this year, comes an equally creepy poster for the series. Check it out ahead!
Hemlock Grove is based on Brian McGreevy's murder-mystery novel and centers on the residents of a former Pennsylvania steel town, living in the wake of the murder of a 17-year-old girl. The investigation exposes some of the dark and twisted secrets of the town, including killer creatures that may or may not be responsible for the girl's murder.
EW posted the new poster, which reveals a human hand protruding from inside the mouth of what looks like a wolf…
It's kind of interesting to me that the tagline is "The Monster Is Within," and it's the human hand coming from the mouth of the beast. Monster may be a bit more figurative in this case, I guess. Creepy stuff! And those are some major fangs. For those of you who missed the trailer, which arrived back in January, check it out below.
Executive produced and developed by Brian McGreevy & Lee Shipman, and executive produced by Eli Roth, Hemlock Grove stars Famke Janssen, Dougray Scott, Bill Skarsgard, Landon Liboiron, Penelope Mitchell and Freya Tingley. The 13-episode first season arrives (all episodes at once) on Netflix on April 19, 2013.
