Comedy parodies can run the gamut from extremely funny to extremely strange. We’re not exactly sure how to take the latest Bob’s Burgers parody, a joke-filled trailer for the porn parody Bob’s Boners. Keep in mind this is a trailer for a porn movie, but it’s safe for YouTube and thus not filled with graphic imagery. It may even be safe for work, provided your employer doesn’t mind jokes about shriveled dick burgers and large-chested women. Take a look, below.
The Bob’s Boners trailer has everything you might want from a Wood Rocket production (yes, that’s the real porn company’s name). It has porn star Anthony Rosano playing the title role, which means he gets to wear a ridiculous pornstache, to boot. It has AVN hall of famer Tabitha Stevens in a particularly demure outfit and the giant red-rimmed glasses that Linda favors. There’s a subplotline involving Bob and Linda’s daughter and her obsession with fan fiction related to butts. There’s jokes about “vaggie” burgers and much, much more. It’s the most awkward porn trailer I’ve ever seen, made even more awkward by the fact that it’s all bad jokes and no nudity.
This is how Wood Rocket gets ya. The company produces bizarre pop-culture related pornos and leaves the nudity to your imagination—unless you want to head over to the site and confirm you are 18+. The XXX site is a fan of this sort of TV crossover. A year ago, they produced the titillating parody film Game of Bones.
They also released the Parks and Recreation parody Porks and Recreation, which follows Leslie Knope and Ron Swanson as a couple of city officials just trying to save the day and get it on. This parody is also notable as it preserves Ron Swanson’s love of meat.
Even if you aren’t a fan of porn, the Bob’s Boners trailer is still worth a watch. The jokes are just too ridiculous to miss in a cringeworthy, epically awkward sort of way. This isn’t the first time Bob’s Burgers has been parodied, however. The animated TV series also got a nod in the Season 4 premiere of Archer, during which the super agent hides out and cooks burgers as Bob Belcher after his mother marries Ron Cadillac.
