What kind of ridiculous luck does Mario Lopez have? First, he played A.C. Slater on the hit show of my youth, ‘Saved By the Bell” then, he followed that with pretty much nothing until recently. Although, all along the way he has probably been dating supermodels and eating relatively well. Now, according to TV.com, and with his newfound ‘Dancing With the Stars’ fame, Lopez is hosting the 2007 Miss America Pageant. The pageant will air on January 29 on the Country Music Channel at 8 pm.
Dancing closely with one hot chick isn’t quite enough for the Latin wonder. Now, he will have 50 gorgeous (and oh so smart) women fawning about his countenance. I can’t help but hate the dude.
At least Emmitt Smith smashed him via dance on the finale of ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ which is something I can hold on to in the cold, cold nights when I am not surrounded by 50 of the brightest, beautifulest women in America. By the way, what happened to the Miss America Pageant? Country Music Channel? I say bring it back to network television. I think America deserves to see swimsuits, evening gowns, and intelligence (or lack thereof) for free.
