The Huntress Is Back In Arrow 'Birds Of Prey' Clip
The Huntress -- aka Oliver's "psycho ex-girlfriend -- is back! The new clip from this week's Arrow, titled "Birds of Prey," serves as a moderately spoilery explanation for why Helena has returned to Starling. As you might have guessed, it involves her father. But what's not entirely clear is which is head of the other in this whole situation.
We knew from the episode description that Huntress (Jessica De Gouw) would be returning to town when her father Frank Bertinelli (Jeffrey Nordling) is arrested, but what the clip seems to indicate is that the whole situation with Frank was staged to lure Helena back to Starling and into a trap. Or if not staged, then at the very least used. That's where the clip cuts out, but from what Huntress says, it sounds like she's prepared for such a scenario, so we'll have to wait and see how that scene plays out.
In the meantime, we glimpsed Oliver in that scene, and he's not the only Arrow character at the courthouse. Laurel was picked to try Frank's case, which means she's probably lingering somewhere...
And we also know from the photos that Sara's going to be getting involved...
I've already shared my theory that Sara's days are numbered, but I'm mostly confident that she'll survive this episode, mainly because we see her at the end of that amazing 3-minute extended trailer when Oliver, Sara and Roy are surrounding Slade. With that said, it looks like most of the footage from that trailer has either aired in previous Arrow episodes or is familiar from the teaser for tomorrow night's "Birds of Prey," so that big preview is likely close to expiring in terms of new footage. And just in time for Arrow's anticipated "Deathstroke" episode! That one's set to air next Wednesday, and if the buzz is any indication, it's a big one with a cliffhanger.
In the meantime, we have "Birds of Prey" to look forward to tomorrow night (Wednesday) when Arrow airs at 8:00 p.m. ET on CW. Here's the previously released "Birds of Prey" trailer...
