Justified Season 4 Photo Shows Patton Oswalt With A Badge
Justified is a series that knows how to balance humor with drama and suspense, so Patton Oswalt seems like the perfect kind of actor to guest star on the FX series. Known for his stand-up comedy, the comedian-actor has a proven and demonstrated knack for mixing funny with serious. See Big Fan and Young Adult for feature examples of what I'm referring to. Or perhaps we'll have another great example when he appears in the upcoming fourth season premiere of Justified.
EW shared the photo below, which gives us a look at Patton Oswalt with Justified's Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant).
Oswalt's playing Constable Bob Sweeney in the series' fourth season premiere (and we'll apparently be seeing him again later on in the season). He's a former high school classmate of Raylan's, whom Givens asks to check in on Arlo's house and make sure it doesn't get trashed. From what Oswalt says of his character, he has a past…
Super violent and super funny sounds right in Justified's wheelhouse and also a good fit for Oswalt. The comedian-actor's recent TV appearances have included the role of Billy Stanhope on Two and a Half Men and a guest spot on Fox's animated series Bob's Burgers. In addition to Justified, we'll also be seeing him in HBO's The Newsroom in a recurring role when the series returns next year for Season 2.
