Kirstie Alley To Play A Divine Minister

The Emmy Award winning actress, Kirstie Alley has recently signed on to star in Fox’s new comedy, ‘Minister of Divine.’ The former star and executive producer of Showtime’s ‘Fat Actress’ will make her return to network television playing a rebel-turned-preacher.

‘Minister of Divine’ is based on the British series ‘ The Vicar of Dibley’ and will be about a once bad-girl who returns to her hometown to become a minister.

Kirstie Alley made a name for herself on the small screen with her starring role in the hit show ‘Cheers.’ She also starred in the show ‘Veronica’s Closet’ and most recently, ‘Fat Actress’
