Latest Running Wilde Trailer And Cast Additions
If you’re looking forward to Fox’s new comedy starring Will Arnett and Kerri Russell, we have some updates, including a few recent cast additions and the video that was shown during the TCA panel earlier this week.
Fox is calling Running Wilde a romantic comedy series. According to their premise, it centers on a spoiled, rich playboy (Steve, played by Will Arnett) who wants to win over his high school sweetheart (played by Kerri Russell), who’s pretty much the polar opposite of him as she’s a humanitarian.
Earlier this week, Fox presented the following video at the 2010 TCA panel. And below that is the latest trailer for the series.
The most recent cast additions for Running Wilde are Robert Michael Morris and Mel Rodriguez. Morris played a part in How I Met Your Mother, however I think my favorite role of his was Mickey in the underappreciated HBO comedy series The Comeback. In Running Wilde, he’s set to play Mr. Lunt, Arnett’s character’s former “manny” and current secretary. There’s something hilarious about the idea that a guy would retitle his nanny just to keep him around beyond his childhood years, which I’m guessing might be Morris' character’s backstory.
Mel Rodriguez has appeared in Big Love, Flash Forward, The Middle and George Lopez. In Running Wilde he’ll be playing Migo, Steve’s driver and friend.
Running Wilde premieres on Tuesday, September 21 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
