Latest Walking Dead Preview Shows Someone Surrounded By Walkers
Previous teasers for The Walking Dead Season 5 seem to be focusing on the threat posed to Rick and his group by the people at Terminus. The latest teaser reminds us that there's also that pesky zombie problem plaguing the world...
Here's where we start talking vague-ish spoilers and speculation. If you don't want to know anything specific about what's ahead in The Walking Dead Season 5 based on what we've seen from the other videos and things said in interviews by the cast and writers, read no further!
Looking at the new teaser, let's not forget, when they were last seen, Tyreese and Carol weren't with Rick and his group at Terminus. The duo was trekking in that direction, along with Baby Judith. All of them likely trying to make small talk and not think about how there used to be two little girls traveling with them. A walker attack is probably just the ticket to breaking up the monotony, assuming what we're seeing in the teaser above is something that takes place before Carol and Tyreese inevitably meet up with Rick's group.
And we already know that Tyreese and Carol will make it back to Rick with baby Judith. The Comic-con trailer took a bit of the suspense out of that, revealing moments where Tyreese and Carol are in the frame with one or more characters from Rick's group. We also see Rick holding a baby at one point.
So if the teaser above is set before Tyreese and Carol make it to Terminus (or wherever it is that they end up reuniting with Rick and his people), we should be able to rest assured that Tyreese will survive the oncoming walkers. But it'll be exciting to see how this trio of stragglers make it to their friends.
There's been a lot of buzz about The Walking Dead Season 5. Between the recurring chatter about Daryl's undisclosed sexual orientation to his feelings about Beth, to the brutal six minute open of the upcoming season, we've had plenty to mull over while we wait for The Walking Dead to return.
The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres on AMC on October 12. Watch the Comic-Con trailer on the next page...
