Lewis Black, the screamer of Comedy Central, is now a judge. Some of you may not realize that he has a law degree, oh wait, he doesn't. It’s not a real courtroom, and he isn’t presiding over any real case. His newest show, The Root of All Evil, puts pop cultural topics on trial and then decides after hearing arguments from fellow comics which is the more evil of the two.
Tonight’s show features the two evils – Beer and Weed. The show follows the same general format every week - after a super clever and entertaining intro by Lewis himself, he introduces the two “advocates” (who also do not have a real law degree – just reminding you…). This week, the advocates are Paul F. Tompkins for Beer and Andrew Daly for Weed.

The Root of All Evil premiered a last week, and the trial was Donald Trump vs. Viagra. As determined by voters, Donald Trump is officially more evil than viagra which is a yuge statement (picture Donald saying huge where you read yuge…man that drives me crazier than Martha Stewart pronouncing the “H” in herb…)
