Lost Preview: What Kate Does
For those of you who caught last night’s season premiere of Lost and want a taste of what’s coming up next week, we have a clip to share with you. Spoiler warning! If you don’t want to know what’s coming up, look no further!
Ok, we warned you. Below is a video from the episode titled “What Kate Does.” Before that is ABC’s brief description for the episode:
Hey, Kate’s a car thief and a purse-snatcher! Add that to the list of not-so-nice things she’s done. “Terrified a pregnant lady, stole her purse and kicked her out of the stolen cab in the middle of nowhere.” Class act, Freckles! Apparently, that’s “what Kate does” but I’m guessing she does even more in the episode.
I’m sort of hoping that this potentially alternate reality featuring the Losties’ lives as they would be if the plane had landed is just the writers’ way of emphasizing how far tha characters have come in the series. Kate’s never exactly been a model citizen, however her character has made some strides over the course of her time on the island. Seeing her desperation demonstrated in the above clip makes me think that the island-reality might not be the worst case scenario in terms of personal growth and redemption are concerned.
