Louie Preview: Season 3 - Miami
How do you follow an excellent guest appearance by Melissa Leo? If you're Louis C.K., you go to the beach. Of the first handful of episodes of the FX comedy series' third season, next Thursday night's episode, titled "Miami" may very well be my favorite. The preview gives us a look at what Louie is in for as he heads out of town for a work-related adventure.
Earlier this week, we shared two clips from the "Miami" episode of Louie, one of which has Louie noticing the people he's surrounded by while on the beach in Miami. That moment is featured in the promo below, along with some unseen footage from the episode.
Being in unfamiliar territory is only part of Louie's adventure in "Miami." While he's in a new environment, Louie is still Louie, and the episode finds a way to emphasize that in the story, which involves Louie making a friend. The episode has numerous great moments, one of which is among these clips, and involves a bikini'ed girl helping herself to one of Louie's strawberries. His reaction to the situation is one of the things I love about the series and Louis C.K.'s comedy in general.
Louie airs Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
