MacArthur Jumps Into Family Comedy
Fresh off his role opposite Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the oddly-popular The Game Plan, Hayes MacArthur is jumping into the sit-com pool. The burly-man is set to write, executive produce, and star in a family comedy for NBC.
According to a Hollywood Reporter story, the untitled project is based loosely on MacArthur’s own life and will feature a recently divorced dad who moves in with his two sons to try and restore order to his life. Way to capitalize on your life-stuff, Hayes.
MacArthur has graced both big and small screens over the past few years, with roles in Are We Done Yet?, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and the 2005 comedy pilot The Adventures of Big Handsome Guy and His Little Friend, which he co-created with Jason Winer.
