One of the most appealing things about the look of Starz’ upcoming new drama Magic City, at least, not having seen it yet, is the style and glamorous costume design shown in the promos for the series. Starz released a video today addressing that very topic.
Simon Doonan (Creative Ambassador, Barneys New York) is featured in the video below as he discusses the style of the era, and how people wanted to look in the late ’50’s. We also get plenty of glimpses at Starz’ new drama series, which is set to premiere on April 6 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
As Ike Evans rings in the New Year’s Eve at his luxurious Miramar Playa Hotel, Havana falls to Castro’s rebels. It’s a turbulent time in Miami, but it’s THE place to be.
