New Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Teaser Reminds Us That Not All Heroes Are Super

Welcome to Level 7! The above teaser for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. reminds us that "not all heroes are super." Cut to a shot of Agent Coulson, a prime example of a hero type whose heart and determination make up for what he lacks in the kind of super powers we've seen demonstrated by the likes of Thor, the Hulk and Captain America.

The latest teaser was shared on the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Facebook page ahead of its scheduled television debut during the NBC Finals on ABC Sunday night. The teaser follows the previously released trailer for the upcoming new series, which will follow the inner workings of S.H.I.E.L.D., the world-wide law enforcement organization featured in the recent Marvel films, including The Avengers.

Going back to the message conveyed in the new teaser, while not all heroes are super, the glimpses we've seen of this exciting new series indicate that there will be plenty of action in this drama. And also plenty of Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), being all suited and smart, just as we like him. Joining Gregg in the cast are Brett Dalton, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain De Caestcker. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is executive produced by Joss Whedon, along with Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, who co-wrote the pilot. The series will air Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, beginning this fall.
