Mean Girl To Set Sights On Television

Claudia Salinger is back. Sure, you may claim to hate ‘Party of Five’ now, but you know the truth in your heart. In fact, everyone born in the early to mid 1980s knows exactly how important ‘Party of Five’ was to the middle school lunch room discussion. For the first time since the (arguably) tragic cancellation of ‘Party of Five’ in 2000, Lacey Chabert is heading back to primetime television.

Zap2it.com is reporting that Chabert(Black Christmas,Dirty Deeds) will join Molly Stanton(‘Twins’, ‘Passions’) in a currently untitled Liz Meriwether pilot about three recently graduated sorority girls who decide to change their lives. The only thing more unclear than the general plotline is who Liz Meriwether is. According to imdb, she played “graduate student” in the 2005 Jeff Daniels’ film The Squid And The Whale. No word yet on how this bit role vaulted her into a lucrative producing gig.

After ‘Party Of Five’ was cancelled Chabert went on to star as “Gretchen Wieners” in the outrageously funny 2004 hit Mean Girls. Widely believed by myself to be one of the hottest women in the world, she delighted fans everywhere with a recent racy pictorial in Maxim proving my suspicion that more exposure is always better.
