Meet Californication's Season 6 Guest Stars Including Maggie Grace
Hank Moody survived another turbulent year and is soon returning for a sixth season of Californication. Obviously, that means the Showtimes series star, David Duchovny, will also be coming back to the small screen, as well as the majority of his recurring cohorts. Two things, however, that help make the sex, drugs and alcohol-laced drama even more fun are the quality and quantity of the guest stars.
That's not to diminish the also excellent work of the recurring actors - Natascha McElhone, Madeleine Martin, Evan Handler and Pamela Adlon - but creator Tom Kapinos always seems to bring in an interesting mix of personalities and perfectly cast actors to spice up each and every season. From Rick Springfield, Rob Lowe and RZA to Callum Keith Rennie, Ezra Miller and Steven Tobolowsky, Californication rarely disappoints in the new character department. And Showtime has released a new promo to introduce this year's crop. Take a look.
Joining Duchovny for the sixth season, as you can see, are an expected eclectic bunch of guests, stretching from Maggie Grace's muse named Faith (who seems like she'll be quite involved in the whole arc) to the Sex Pistols' Steve Jones and/or Marilyn Manson (both playing themselves in what seems like one-off appearances). Grace might be the most exciting addition for aesthetic reasons but I'm really looking forward to seeing Australian comedian Tim Minchin step onto the American small screen. The wait is not too long. One month. And a few days.
Californication Season 6 premieres Sunday, January 13 at 10:30 p.m. ET on Showtime.
