Missing Preview: ABC's Action Drama Starring Ashley Judd Premiere Tonight
Joining ABC’s line-up tonight is Missing, a drama series that looks like the film Taken, with Ashley Judd playing the role of the ex-CIA agent who stop at nothing to get her kid back. The clips we have to show you from tonight’s premiere give us a look at the Judd’s character, and the relationship she has with her son Michael.
Created by Gregory Poirier, Missing has Judd playing Becca Winstone, a former CIA agent whose son disappears while he’s studying abroad, causing her to set off to Europe to track him down. ABC’s description promises exotic locations and thrilling twists. There’s also a back-story involving Michael witnessing his father’s murder. Here’s ABC’s synopsis for the drama...
The clips below do a nice job of showing us two things. The first is that Becca and her son Michael are close (and they speak in code sometimes, which could come in handy). The second video shows us what appears to be the reaction of Winstone’s pursuit by the CIA. While she’s searching for her son, they may be searching for her...?
Missing premieres Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 8:00 p.m., ET on ABC.
