Mockingbird Lane Images Show Us The Munsters In Their New Home
Headed to NBC later this month is Mockingbird Lane, a TV special - originally set to be a pilot for a potential series by Bryan Fuller - that brings the classic monster-family the Munsters back to the small screen. Since announcing that Mockingbird Lane would air as a special, NBC has released a trailer, and now we have an official description and a bunch of new photos for you to check out.
From the description NBC has provided, it seems the focus of this special is on easing young Eddie Munster into the understanding that he's a werewolf, and that puberty is going to be a whole different kind of situation for him than it is for other boys…
There's a mention of Herman needing a new heart. We saw Jerry O'Connell on the table in the promo and here he is again, with Grandpa (Eddie Izzard) standing over him holding a heart.
Here we have Herman with Eddie's hand on his heart...
And in this one, Marilyn checks out the plant and animal life in the house…
And here we get a look at Portia de Rossi as Lily. Quite a banquet they have going on there…
You can view the rest of the new photos in the gallery below. Mockingbird Lane airs Friday, October 26 at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
