Mrs. C Is Back
Marion Ross, Mrs. C to Fonzie and the gang, is returning to network television. Unfortunately for her, she has to work with Jay Mohr. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against Mohr. Well, he isn’t really funny but besides that, I’m sure he’s an OK guy. My problem is that Mohr is almost synonymous with cancellation these days. I think he’s had an estimated 183 shows cancelled since he starred in the movie, Jerry Maguire. Heck, ESPN even cancelled a show of his. They’ll air anything.
Mohr and Ross will star in the NBC sitcom “Community Service” which the network plans to begin airing in the fall. The show's about a New Yorker who chases an ex-girlfriend to a small town in Ohio. He gets arrested along the way and sentenced to community service. Hmm…let me guess. He begins to fall for the town? This has a “Northern Exposure” feel to it without the beauty of Alaska. Ohio sucks, sorry folks.
No word yet on Ross’s character but I’m really hoping she ain’t the girlfriend.
