NBC Adds Two Shows To The Midseason Lineup

NBC has two new shows on deck for their midseason lineup and the network solidified their premiere dates this week. The shows, titled ‘The Black Donnellys’ and ‘Andy Barker, P.I.’ will begin airing in March. ‘Donnellys’ will take over the ‘Studio 60’ spot on Monday nights while ‘Barker’ will sub for ’30 Rock’ on NBC’s hilarious Thursday night line-up.

According to Zap2it.com, ‘The Black Donnellys’ is created by Paul Haggis and Bobby Moresco (Crash) and centers on four Irish-American brothers who get involved in organized crime in New York. The show will follow ‘Heroes’ at 10 pm on Monday nights, starting March 5th.

‘Andy Barker, P.I.,’ created by ‘Late Night’s’ Conan O’Brien and Jonathan Groff (‘Father of the Pride’). ‘Barker’ will star funny-man Andy Richter and is about an accountant who is mistaken for the private investigator who was the former tenant of the office where Andy currently works. Because he isn’t getting much business as an accountant, Andy decides to take on a few cases. The half hour comedy will fill the 9:30 pm spot on Thursday nights starting March 15th until ’30 Rock’ returns on April 19th.
