NBC Sweepstakes Offers Comic Con Attendees VIP Treatment

If you’re planning on attending Comic Con in San Diego next week, you might be interested to know that NBC is running some Sweepstakes that offer the winners VIP treatment to two of their events.

From what I hear, it isn’t always easy getting into some of the Comic Con panels and screenings. With the first-come-first-serve set-ups, Comic Con attendees who are hoping to catch an early look at NBC’s upcoming new series The Cape and The Event will most likely have to wait in line and hope they’ll get in before the venue fills up. If you’re among the many who are set to attend Comic Con and you’re hoping to check out the panels and screenings for The Cape and/or The Event, NBC is offering a sweepstakes for both of the series’ Comic Con events that will offer the winners the VIP treatment, which includes two tickets to the panels.

It looks like NBC has it set up where entering is free but requires registration and possibly some participation with the site to earn points (which can then be spent on the sweepstakes). That seems like a small price to pay for a chance to avoid the line and guarantee yourself a spot at one or both of the panels! Included in the “Official Rules” is, “Sponsor not responsible for providing entry to San Diego Comic-Con.” So it sounds like you need to have your own Comic Con tickets in order to take advantage of the prize.
