Nashville Series Premiere Full Episode: Watch It Online Here

One of the better pilots among this season's offering of new series is Nashville, ABC's drama about a country music singer and the up-and-coming singer who may rise up to take her place. The premiere episode won't air until next Wednesday night, but those who want to see it sooner than that can watch the series premiere right here.

Nashville stars Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights) as Rayna Jaymes, a country music legend who may have reached the top of her career, but hasn't stopped working hard in her efforts to stay on top. Hayden Panettiere (Heroes) plays Juliette Barnes, the hot new artist who knows she's hot and isn't about to let anyone stand in her way of reaching the top. Beyond the music is plenty of character drama as we get to know these two women and the people in their lives. Watch the full pilot episode below. (It comes via Hulu, so there may be region issues for those outside the U.S.).

What did you think? Nashville landed high on my list of favorite pilots this season, so I'm really hoping that the strong pilot is an indication of good things to come as this series gets going. It's great to see Britton back in another starring role so soon after American Horror Story, and I'm eager to see where Rayna Jaymes' story goes from here.

Nashville will make its official premiere Wednesday, October 10 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Assistant Managing Editor

Kelly put her life-long love of movies, TV and books to greater use when she joined CinemaBlend as a freelance TV news writer in 2006, and went on to serve as the site’s TV Editor before joining the staff full-time in 2011 and moving over to other roles at the site. At present, she’s an Assistant Managing Editor who spends much of her time brainstorming and editing features, analyzing site data, working with writers and editors on content planning and the workflow, and (of course) continuing to obsess over the best movies and TV shows (those that already exist, and the many on the way). She graduated from SUNY Cortland with BA in Communication Studies and a minor in Cinema Studies. When she isn't working, she's probably thinking about work, or reading (or listening to a book), and making sure her cats are living their absolute best feline lives.
