The Nerdist: Year In Review Preview: Hardwick, Fillion, Wheaton And Others Get Geeky On BBC America
Tonight BBC America is set to celebrate all things nerd by airing a special featuring Chris Hardwick and some extremely geek-friendly guests. If the words Wheaton and/or Fillion mean anything to you, read on to check out the trailer for The Nerdist: Year in Review.
Writer, podcaster and all around geek-extraordinaire Chris Hardwick has five Nerdist specials set to air on BBC America over the course of the next year, the first of which airs tonight and based on the trailer we have to show you, it looks like it’ll be a good one. The Nerdist: Year in Review features Hardwick, his friends Matt Mira and Jonah Ray, Nathan Fillion (a.k.a Captain Hammer, Mal Reynolds, Castle), Wil Wheaton (silent-H unless you’re Stewie), and Franklin & Bash’s Kumail Nanjiani as they review the best nerd moments of the U.S. and U.K. in 2011. While it doesn't seem exactly holiday-focused for a special airing on Christmas Eve, geeks who will fall asleep tonight with visions of TARDISes dancing in their heads aren’t likely to mind.
Here’s the trailer...
The Nerdist: Year in Review special premieres Saturday, December 24, 9:00pm ET/PT on BBC America.
