The Newsroom Preview: Episode 4 - I'll Try To Fix You
Like any workplace drama series, mixing business with pleasure seems to be a recurring thing on HBO's new drama The Newsroom. Based on the preview video for next week's episode, there's going to be a lot more of that going around as Will gets himself into some trouble and Maggie's roommate enters the picture as a possible fix-up for Jim.
Last night's episode of The Newsroom included a bit of romantic drama for Will and Mackenzie, particularly with regards to other people they're seeing. From the preview for "I'll Try to Fix You," it looks like Will's romantic exploits are going to cause some publicity problems for him.
In addition to Will making what could be a major mistake in dating a gossip columnist, it looks like Maggie's roommate Lisa is being fixed up with Jim. Enter Kelen Coleman, who fans of The Office may recognize as Pam's friend Isabel, who got involved with Dwight for a time. It was a brief role, but a memorable one, and it looks like we'll see even more of her on The Newsroom. She's currently credited for five upcoming episodes of the series, so perhaps things will work out for her and Jim? And wouldn't that just be the perfect way to prolong the confusion/tension between Jim and Maggie for a bit longer?
Also coming up on The Newsroom, breaking news and the pressure to always be current!
The Newsroom airs Sunday at 10:00 p.m. ET on HBO. Read our full breakdown of last night's episode here.
