Oh Sit! Season 2 Preview Shows The Tougher Obstacle Course And Some Big Spills
In just a week, The CW will bring Oh Sit! back for its second season, and as you can see in the video above, they've added some new obstacles to that wet and wild rotating obstacle course of theirs. The game looks even more challenging than ever, even for those athletic enough to make their way around the course without seriously hurting themselves.
Inspired by musical chairs and hosted by Jamie Kennedy and Jessi Cruickshank, Oh Sit takes the kid's party game to the next level - and then the next level after that. Set to music performed by a live band, the elimination game has 12 contestants racing around a circular obstacle track and eventually attempting to cross a moat and make their way up a mountain of other obstacles to grab one of the chairs and ensure themselves a spot round. It's a last-man-sitting competition, and as you may have noticed, it's physically grueling and occasionally very wet.
Actual musical chairs typically has a no-shoving rule, depending on whether or not there was an authority figure around to enforce it. There doesn't appear to be a rule about shoving in Oh Sit, as we occasionally see contestants knocking each other into the water, whether they mean to or not. The above preview gave us a glimpse of one contestant falling on another and knocking them into the water. You'll see that snippet again in the clip below, which shows the finalists scrambling to get to that last chair.
Oh Sit! Season 2 premieres Monday, April 15 at 8:00 p.m. ET on CW.
