Olsen Twin Tokes Up
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have built an empire by peddling an uncountable number of direct-to-DVD movies to our nation’s infants, kiddies, toddlers, and tweenies. Eventually, the moguls expanded into fashion, literature, and big studio films, but that’s just not enough for the richest twins in the world. Mary-Kate is ready to tackle the drug trade.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the sportier (and usually skinnier) half of the famous duo has signed on to star in the third season of Showtime’s critically acclaimed dramedy ‘Weeds.’ The pot plot follows a suburban mother who decides to begin growing ganja with a few of her friends and eccentric members of the town. Even if this show sucked (which it doesn’t) it would be more than worth watching for Kevin Nealon’s unusual but always hilarious comedic style.
The madness will begin with the season premiere on August 13th. Mary-Kate will play a love interest and obsessively Christian vixen who catches the fancy of Silas, played by Hunter Parrish. She is slated to appear in at least ten of the fifteen episodes. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to watch the emaciated hottie inhale her first toke of adult-themed chicanery.
