One Of The Heroes Will Die During Sweeps

The show ‘Heroes’ hit the ground running this fall and has built up a pretty large fanbase. On the average, 15 million viewers tune in to NBC each Monday night at 9 pm to watch the drama unfold in the fictional world where regular people have extraordinary abilities. While these characters might be able to fly, bend space and time, heal themselves and do a number of other seemingly impossible things, we’ve already learned that they aren’t indestructible.

TV.com reported that one of the main characters will be killed off before the end of the season. Tim Kring told TV Guide, “During February sweeps we are going to kill off one of our regulars, someone who has been with the show from the very beginning.” Whichever character is killed off wouldn’t be the first character to die on the show. Eden, the girl who could control people with her mind died last fall due to a self-inflicted bullet to the brain. Most would say she was more of a side character, though. Kring seemed to make it clear that whoever dies on the show in February will be one of the big characters.

While Kring wouldn’t hint at who might be meeting their demise during sweeps, he did say they had plans for the character, in terms of future episodes in the series. He used Hiro as an example, saying that if he were to die, we might see him again in later episodes due to his ability to bend time.
