Peter Picks A Pilot
ABC has signed Peter Krause to for a drama pilot titled ‘Dirty Sexy Money.’ Krause, who is best known for his role as Nathan Fisher in the hit HBO series, ‘Six Feet Under’ and most recently for his role in the Sci Fi miniseries, ‘The Lost Room’ has been in high demand for the pilot season.
According to Reuters.com, Krause will play an idealistic lawyer who takes over the job of representing a “powerful and ethically flexible” family when his father dies.
In other casting news, Reuters also reported that Kim Raver (’24,’ ‘The Nine’) has been signed to star in NBC’s ‘Lipstick Jungle.’ She will be working alongside Brooke Shields who will also star in the show, as reported earlier this week.
‘Lipstick Jungle’ centers on three successful women in their 40’s who are trying to manage their careers and families while living in the Big Apple. ‘Jungle’ is based on the novel by ‘Sex and the City’ writer, Candace Bushnell. The show sounds very similar to ABC’s ‘Cashmere Mafia,’ which is about four successful female executives. Miranda Otto is set to star in ‘Cashmere Mafia.’ Lord of the Rings fanatics will recognize Otto from her role as Eowyn in the popular trilogy.
