Pictures Of Remake-Knight Rider's KITT Surface Online

News about NBC’s remake of Knight Rider has been trickling in steadily over the last few weeks. Earlier this month, we learned that soap star Justin Bruening would be playing the lead role in the miniseries that could turn out to be a backdoor pilot for a full series if all goes well. Later on in the month, Moviehole.net reported some juicy details about the role Hasselhoff would play in the in the remake. And now, another source has posted pictures of K.I.T.T.!

In the original Knight Rider series, Michael’s infamous talking-car-sidekick was a black Pontiac Trans Am. Obviously the remake is going to have quite a few upgrades and according to jalopnik.com, one of the shinier features of the miniseries will include a totally new K.I.T.T. The site included pictures of new-K.I.T.T., which is a black 550 HP Ford Shelby GT500KR Mustang. The site didn’t mention exactly where they got these photos because their source wished to remain anonymous.

K.I.T.T.’s body wont be the only thing different about the chatty automobile in the remake-miniseries. According to Moviehole, William Daniels (whom in addition to doing the voice for the original K.I.T.T., you may remember as playing George Feeny in Boy Meets World) will not be returning to play the voice of K.I.T.T. for the remake.
