When IFC’s Portlandia first premiered, the series kicked off with a musical number about the dream of the ’90’s and the city of Portland, where all of the hot girls wear glasses and young people go to retire. This Friday’s episode will feature a follow up song. The dream of the ’90’s is still alive in Portland!... the 1890’s, anyway...
?IFC released this clip from tomorrow night’s episode, which should look very familiar from the start to anyone who’s seen the first episode of the first season. Once again, Fred is telling Carrie just how awesome Portland is, except all of the knitting and pickling sounds a bit more reminiscent of a different ’90’s than the relatively more recent decade.
