Portlandia Season 3 Preview Clip Has Carrie Swept Away By A Fantasy
The dream of the 90s is still alive in Portland. IFC's popular comedy series Portlandia returns next year (with a special episode airing next month). This new clip gives us a look at what's going on in Portlandia's Portland these days.
Starring and co-created by Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, Portlandia is a sketch comedy that follows various eccentric and artistic characters living in Portland. The show takes an amusing approach to showcasing and poking fun at hipster and modern-hippie culture in the Northwest. Season 3, which premieres January 4, 2013, and will include the return of Kyle MacLachlan, who will return to play Portland's mayor. And Chloe Sevigny will guest star as Fred and Carrie's roommate in the show. That should be interesting, and we can only hope things work out better for her character on Portlandia than they have been for her character in FX's American Horror Story: Asylum.
Here's a clip from the upcoming third season of Portlandia, which shows just how different reality can be from meditation-fantasy.
That was unexpected.
Portlandia's third season premieres Friday, January 4, 2013 at 10:00pm ET/PT. The pre-season bonus episode “Winter in Portlandia” will air Friday, December 14, 2012 at 10:30pm ET/PT on IFC.
