Portlandia Tour Adds More Dates And Cities

IFC’s Portlandia returned to television for its second season last week and beginning next week, stars (and creators) of the IFC comedy series Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein will go on tour across the country. With the California, Illinois and New York visits sold out, more dates and venues have been added to the tour, giving fans in a few of the more southern regions of the country the opportunity to catch the tour as well.

Portlandia: The Tour is in support of the series’ currently airing second season. It features Brownstein and Armisen as they appear live and “perform live music, present special clips from the show’s second season, share personal anecdotes about the creation and inspiration of Portlandia and even bring along surprise special guests in each market.”

IFC passed the word along today, stating that the Portlandia tour will now extend through February and included Washington DC, Philadelphia, and Atlanta, as well as Boston and Nashville. Tickets for the February dates will go on sale on Thursday (January 12th). Fans can go to IFC.Com for more information on how to buy them.
