New Reality Show Follows The Jackson Family

Last week Showbiz411 ran a story about A&E airing a reality series about the Jackson family. Today A&E spoke up and confirmed the rumor, stating that they are moving forward to create a series that follows the Jackson family in the wake of Michael’s death.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the working title for the series is Jackson Family Dynasty. The premiere episode will be the one-hour documentary that was produced before Jackson died. After that, the show will focus on the family as they deal with Michael Jackson’s death and the drama surrounding it.

"Everybody wants to do a show that's very genuine," Exec producer Jodi Gomes said. "They're not shy about talking about their brother, they just want to find it a way to do it honestly."

While one could look at this as exploitation of the family’s grief, from the sound of it, the Jackson’s are on board with this. Given the devastation many fans have experienced over the King of Pop’s death, it’s likely that there will be a huge audience for this reality show.
