Rebirth Preview: Showtime Film Focuses On Five Lives Affected By September 11th
While it may seem impossible that ten years have gone by since the terrorist attacks on September 11th, the years were more of a struggle for some than for others. Showtime’s upcoming film Rebirth follows the decade from the perspective of a number of people whose lives were drastically affected by 9/11.
Ten years in the making, Rebirth looks at the lives of five people who were deeply affected by what happened on September 11, 2001. As it looks as though this film will put the emphasis on people's stories and life since the attacks, I’d probably push this film higher up on the list of specials to consider watching on the ten year anniversary of the attacks, as opposed to the specials or films that may place more emphasis on the images, video and audio recordings from the day of the attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon.
Showtime released the poster for Rebirth, which features the faces of the people being featured in the film. You'll find that below along with the description for the movie and further down, the trailer, which does a decent job of laying out the stories set to be explored in the video.
Rebirth will air on Sunday, September 11th at 9:00 p.m. on Showtime.
