Revenge Ratings Up, Up All Night Hits A Series Low, And Modern Family Wins The Night
There’s good news, if you're a fan of ABC's Revenge. Once again, despite the reported results of a certain survey, things are looking good for Revenge as the ABC drama series saw yet another increase in viewers for the second week in a row!
Deadline posted the news, stating that last night’s episode of Revenge took in 9.3 million viewers, winning its time slot among viewers 18-49 and finishing second for the night in 18-49. Not only is an an increase from last week, but 9.3 million is the highest number of viewers the series has seen since its premiere, which logged 10.02 million viewers. This is good news! Of course, the bad news is, the next new episode doesn’t air until November 16th. Hopefully the series won’t lose much momentum in its brief hiatus.
?The news wasn’t as good for The X Factor, which was recently picked up for a second season. The singing competition earned 11.5 million viewers, which was doing 10% from last week’s first live performance episode. Meanwhile, CBS’ Survivor nudged up a bit from last week, bringing in 11.9 million viewers.
The comedies seemed to take the biggest highs and lows for the night, with Modern Family winning the night with a 5.6/14 rating with 13.2 million viewers, making it the highest-rated and most watched program of the night. On the opposite end of the spectrum, NBC’s Up All Night was down 14% from the episode that aired two weeks ago, making last night a series low. I’m convinced that Up All Night would do a lot better if NBC would put it on Thursday nights with the other comedies. As it is now, it shares Wednesday night with Harry’s Law and Law & Order: SVU (both of which were down a bit in the ratings last night).
