Scandal's Kerry Washington Talks About Olivia Pope In New Video
Scandal may be on hiatus until January, but those who want to see Kerry Washington in the meantime might consider heading out to the movie theater to see Django Unchained. The Scandal star plays the love of the title character's life in the story, which has Jamie Foxx tearing through the south in an effort to rescue her from a slave owner. In this new Scandal featurette, Washington sums of the ABC series and her character Olivia Pope.
The video doesn't give much (or anything) away about what's coming up for Scandal, but in the absence of new episodes, it's a little something for fans of the drama to watch while we wait for the show to come back next month. The promo below has Washington talk about Olivia Pope. (Spoilers if you aren't caught up on the series!)
Olivia Pope makes a living handling other people's scandals, but she may just be the show's most scandalous character, when factoring in the steaming on/off relationship she has with the President. Speaking of scandals, while I've been enjoying the ongoing drama involving the assassination of the president and Huck's involvement, I'm hoping the later episodes of Season 2 will come back around to focusing on Olivia's job. The cases she and her associates take help balance out the series nicely. We'll have to wait and see what the rest of the season has to offer.
Scandal returns Thursday, January 10 at 10:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
