Scandal Season 2, Episode 17 - Watch The Promo For Snake In The Garden

Scandal returned last night after a month of reruns and brought us back into the dramatic personal and professional life of Olivia Pope. As the promo for next week's episode indicates, Olivia Pope has her hands full with work. Given all the time she spent at the White House earlier in the season, it's good to see her taking on new cases. Last night's job led her to an emotional conversation with Fitz. Will there be any time for romance when she's dealing with Hollis Doyle's family catastrophe?

Here's the official episode description for "Snake in the Garden" (spoilers ahead!):

"Snake in the Garden" - The team find themselves working for the devil when Hollis Doyle's daughter is kidnapped and held for ransom. Meanwhile, David is still in danger and is forced to seek shelter at Pope & Associates; Olivia and Jake take their flirtatious relationship to the next level even as the President continues to rely on Jake for intel; in the White House, Cyrus will stop at nothing to get back into the President's good graces; and Mellie's claws come out when she tells Fitz he needs to make some changes, on ABC's "Scandal," THURSDAY, MARCH 28 (10:02-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Mellie's stirring up trouble again. Cyrus is still trying to get on Fitz's good side. David's in danger and still relying on Olivia's team for shelter. And it looks like things are moving forward with Olivia and Jake. Is there any chance for those two? Or is it just a matter of time before she learns his secret motives and the whole thing explodes? Given the state of her relationship with Fitz, something tells me that the President's involvement might sting much worse than learning Jake's been lying to her. Either way, a major burn is inevitable.

Meanwhile, the "devil" has returned. Olivia and her team are working for Hollis Doyle when his daughter is kidnapped. The episode brings Gregg Henry back to the series, as well as guest star Melinda McGraw, who plays his wife.
