Scandal Season 2 Finale Preview Hints At Some Big Twists
Watching Cyrus blow a gasket last night on Scandal, I couldn't help but think this guy is going to give himself a stroke if he doesn't figure out a way to calm down. Judging by the preview for the season finale, it looks like I was wrong. It may be a heart attack that serves as his undoing. And that's just one of the shocking moments glimpsed in the preview. It also looks like Olivia may in some danger. And then of course, there's the mole!
The mole! Spoilers if you're not caught up through last night's episode of Scandal.
"Any Questions?" answered a major one last night as Huck announced that Billy Chambers is the mole and David Rosen is helping him. Shocker! Well, the Chambers part is a shocker. I'm not sure i ever trusted David Rosen.
When Fitz announced that he was running for a second term, Cyrus noted Olivia's sacrifice, which implied that she was basically giving up her relationship with the president by encouraging him to run for another term. But based on the preview, it looks like Fitz is determined to have it all. He wants the presidency, he wants a divorce and he wants his second term to include Olivia as the first lady. That's almost impossible to picture, to be honest. But his determination is commendable. We'll see how things go, especially now that we know there's a naughty video of them out there. Will it be used for blackmail purposes? Or is that destined to get leaked? That would be a major backfire after Fitz's recent "My marriage is none of your beeswax" speech.
From the preview, it also looks like Olivia's getting kidnapped or something. Someone grabs her, and we also get a quick glimpse of a woman coming through a door with a gun raised. Who is she?
We'll have to wait and see! Here's the official (vague) episode description and further down are some photos, which show the gladiators looking hard at work.
