See Buffy's Seth Green And Alyson Hannigan Reunited In How I Met Your Mother Photos
Oz and Willow back together again! Ok, not really. But the two Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-stars who played them will be reunited in an upcoming special one-hour episode of How I Met Your Mother. CBS released some photos from the episode, which show Seth Green's appearance on the series. Without giving too much away before you see them, he looks a bit overzealous.
For those who didn't watch Buffy, HIMYM star Alyson Hannigan's Willow and Seth Green's Oz dated for a couple of seasons before Oz's wolfish affliction resulted in the characters' exit. In a couple of weeks, "The Final Page, Part One and Two" will air and will put Hannigan and Green back together in a different context, as Green plays a someone who went to college with Marshall and Lily (and presumably Ted, but he doesn't seem to be a part of this story). Here's CBS' brief synopsis and episode information.
Based on the photos, it looks like the episode will involve flashbacks, which is no surprise as we often get those whenever the college years of Marshall, Lily and Ted become relevant. But it also looks like Marshall and Lily will be reliving of the good old college days. That includes a bit of hacky sack.
90s! Speaking of which, judging by the outfits and Lily's hair, this one's a flashback…
Because in the 90s, you could wear a plaid flannel over a dress. Is he punching her? She seems to be cringing away from him. All of these photos have Green looking really excited. He also looks pretty much exactly the same in both pictures (same hair, same hoodie, same pants - except he traded a jacket for the backpack).
When we first learned that Green was going to be in the episode, part of the description of his character was that he was an acquaintance of Marshall and Lily that is "creepily obsessed with having the new parents in his life." His enthusiasm for them seems to be coming through in the pictures. To see more of Green in the episode, click the thumbnails below.
