Shameless Season 3 Cascading Failures Preview Shows A Gallagher In Big Trouble
Shameless' third season has been just one great episode after another. Last night's installment left us with a pretty big game-changer for the Gallagher family. But we've seen this family struggle before and they always come through it. It's just a matter of how and at what cost (and whether the outcome makes us want to laugh or cry). Read no further if you aren't caught up through Episode 5 ("The Sins of My Caretaker")! And if you are, check out the preview for next Sunday's "Cascading Failures."
In "The Sins of My Caretaker," things seemed to be going particularly badly for the Gallaghers. Frank and the kids were busy trying to find the dead body buried in their yard before the city workers stumbled across it. The women at Fiona's supermarket were leaving tacks in her cash drawer after learning she's the sole female employee not offering the boss a certain "oral" service. And poor Debbie was getting harassed by cruel, bikinied girls at the public pool. On the bright (or dark) side, Debbie got revenge and Fiona found the body. But neither had time to celebrate their victory as social services arrived just in time to witness enough to pull the kids from the house.
That brings us to the preview video. It doesn't seem like Lip is particularly concerned over the predicament, and it looks like Frank is ready to take advantage of the situation.
Fiona appears willing to give Frank whatever he wants if it means he gets his act together to get the kids back. She won't regret getting the kids back, but she may regret the offer later anyway. Meanwhile, this ordeal appears to put Ian in a very bad situation when Mickey offers him a place to crash. From what the preview shows us, it looks like Mickey's father witnesses Mickey and Ian together and calls for "the Russian." Not good.
Shameless airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m. on Showtime.
