Shameless Season 3 Trailer Shows The Gallaghers Living The American Dream
The Gallaghers return with the third season premiere of Shameless next month, and based on the trailer for Season 3, the dysfunctional Chicago family is up to its old tricks… and some new ones! As the trailer puts it, the Gallaghers are just a family trying to live the American dream one scheme at a time.
The property taxes need to be paid. The Gallaghers are at their mightiest when they're united. And they tend to be when times are at their toughest. Well, except for Frank, who has a tendency to be a contributing factor to whatever the problem is. The trailer below shows the Gallaghers attempting to earn some cash. And Frank trying to figure out what day it is.
The trailer gives us an indication that things are just as hectic as ever in the Gallagher household, but really, not a whole lot has changed for this family. Lip's figuring out ways to make money. Jimmy's turned himself into a housewife, Ian's looking for love, Frank missed Christmas, and Fiona's trying to keep the household running and standing strong with lines like "Nobody fucks with the Gallaghers." Indeed.
Explosions, partying and Frank getting tossed in a dumpster top off the trailer, reminding us that this is a show with a mix of humor, drama and heart, and one very funny family.
Shameless returns Sunday, January 13 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime.
