Sneak Peek At James Franco's Return To General Hospital

ABC is delivering plenty of James Franco over the next few days. Not only is he going to co-host the Academy Awards this Sunday night, but he’s also set to return to General Hospital starting tomorrow. Check out this clip from GH, which includes a nod to 127 Hours.
I can’t comment much on Franco’s return to his role in General Hospital as it pertains to the plot of the series, as I don’t watch the soap opera, however even I found this clip amusing, and not just because Franco is surrounded by photographs of himself.
“That’s what I get for spending my spring between a rock and a hard place.”
I’m not a fan of clichés either, but you have to admit, Franco’s reference to the title of Aron Ralston’s book is worth a chuckle. Not only is Franco hosting the Academy Awards, but he’s also nominated for Best Actor for his portrayal of Ralston in 127 Hours, the film adaptation of Between and Rock and a Hard Place.
Below are the details ABC released on Franco’s appearance in GH:
Accomplished actor James Franco returns to General Hospital as performance artist Franco on Friday, February 25th and Monday, February 28th to wreak havoc once again in Port Charles as he makes a very important phone call to his arch-nemesis Jason Morgan. James Franco's appearance coincides with him co-hosting the Academy Awards on Sunday, February 27th. General Hospital airs Monday-Friday (3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
