Soprano's Movie Rumors Still Swirling
According to the manager of the real-life strip club that doubled as the joint that Tony Soprano liked to frequent, the rumors of a Soprano’s movie may be accurate. Nick D’Urso supposedly got a tip from a reliable source that encouraged him to hold off on the renovations he was planning for fear that he would destroy the ambiance that the site offers.
HBO is vehemently denying that a movie is going to happen, so I think it probably will. You know how they like to keep these things under wraps until they get word that everyone is on board…
Yahoo News is reporting that even though the famous brass stripper poles have already been auctioned off, the rest of the club is still intact.
If you didn’t watch the show, you should know that several key scenes occurred in this bar, and it would be very hard to do a movie with no scenes shot at this location. For the rest of the world, keep your chin up, hope is still alive!
