Spartacus War Of The Damned Episode 3 Promo Teases Big News And Pirates
Things are already beginning to take shape in this final season of Spartacus. Friday night's episode saw our hero coming to a decision on where to put his army during the winter months and then carrying out a plan to take said location and claim it for themselves. Meanwhile, Crassus was faced with some decisions as he prepares to move forward on his war against Spartacus. That included deciding whether or not his son Tiberius would join him. The preview for next week's episode shows the arrival of some exciting (and probably dangerous) knew players: pirates!
Pirates sound like bad news for Spartacus, but perhaps they have their uses. We'll have to wait and see. The video below also shows some very important news getting back to Tiberius, and that's bad news for Spartacus.
While it seems like Tiberius hearing word about Spartacus' army taking that city would be very bad news for Spartacus, I'm wondering if there's more to it than that. Meaning, maybe Tiberius won't deliver that information to his father. Maybe he'll want to confirm it first, or take action to try to prove himself. Either way, the fact that we're seeing that information delivered to Tiberius and not Caesar or Crassus himself makes me think there's a chance the information won't lead directly to an attack on the city. But who knows? In the meantime, it looks like Spartacus has his hands full with the pirates.
Spartacus: War of the Damned airs Friday at 9:00 p.m. ET on Starz.
