Spartacus War Of The Damned Episode 9 Promo: The Dead And The Dying
Following up on a devastating episode ("Separate Paths"), last Friday night left us with a catch-up night featuring encore airings of previous episodes. That may have broken some of the momentum from the major ending of "Separate Paths" to what's ahead in "The Dead and the Dying," but I doubt we'll feel much of that when things get going on Friday night.
The new promo for "The Dead and the Dying" shows us Naevia falling off her horse, which makes me think maybe she's been sent to deliver the "message" to Spartacus and his people that Crixus is dead. Something tells me Crassus and Tiberius would regret leaving her alive, if it was, in fact, their choice to send her back. Hell hath no fury like Naevia scorned, just as Ashur!
Speaking of scorned, it also looks like Caesar has it in for Tiberius, but he's willing to offer "fair trade" for the rapist's life. I'd almost feel bad for Tiberius if he didn't have some very bad things coming his way. And I think it should be Naevia who delivers them, given Tiberius' appreciation for sexual assault and Naevia's brutal history on the matter.
We'll have to wait and see how things turn out when Spartacus returns for its second-to-last episode this Friday night. More info on the series can be found at Starz' website. Spartacus: War of the Damned airs Friday night at 9:00 p.m. ET on Starz.
