Splash Promo For ABC's Upcoming Diving Series Teases Celebrities In Bathing Suits
Unlike Fox's celebrity diving special, ABC's series Splash will work episodically and will feature ten celerities who will work to master various dives before a weekly poolside audience. ABC's new teaser for the special, which debuts in about a month, focuses a bit more on the bikini bodies than it does the actual diving, but that may be part of the appeal of the show for some.
We'll probably have to wait until we're a bit closer to Splash's premiere to see some of the actual diving set to be featured in this unscripted series. In the meantime, ABC reminds us that there will be celebrities in bathing suits in this series with this new teaser.
Of course, we need to take into account that not all of those celebrities are "hot women in swimsuits." Some of them - or one of them, anyway - are Louie Anderson.
Formerly titled Celebrity Diving, Splash is set to premiere on ABC Tuesday, March 19 and features ten celebrities who will compete against one another in various dives, training with decorated and medaled diving legend, Greg Louganis. Set to judge the competition are London Olympic U.S. Gold medalist David Boudia and Australian Olympic athlete and USA Dive Team director Steve Foley. Competing in the series are Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Louie Anderson, Drake Bell, Chuy Bravo, Rory Bushfield, Nicole Eggert, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Ndamukong Suh, Katherine Webb and Kendra Wilkinson.
