Stars In Danger: The High Dive Hosts Set
Earlier this month, Fox announced the names of the celebrities who would be competing in their two-hour special Stars in Danger: The High Dive. The new promotional photos reveal the hosts of the series, which debuts next month. Fox has Kyle Martino and Becky Baeling lined up to host the special.
Fox released a number of promotional photos for the special, which debuts Wednesday, January 9 at 8:00 p.m. and will likely serve as a perfect opportunity for the network to remind viewers that American Idol is lined up to return the following week.
Pictured are Stephen "Twitch" Boss, Bethany Hamilton, JWoww, David Chokachi, Alexandra Paul, Kim Richards, Kyle Richards, Antonio Sabato Jr and Terrell Owens, all of whom will be competing against one another as they perform Olympic-style dives after a crash-course in the sport. More information on the contestants can be found here.
Fox also released this photo, which reveals the hosts of the special.
Soccer player and commentator Kyle Martino and singer Becky Baeling are set to host the special, which will also feature former champion diver Troy Dumais. Martino's TV appearances have included working as a color commentator for Major League Soccer on NBC Sports. Meanwhile, in addition to being a singer, Baeling has some hosting experience, including Star! Weekly, an entertainment news show in Scandenavia's E! Network. So both have experience with hosting, which should come in handy for this gig.
