Sugarloaf Given 13 Episode Order
A&E has a new drama series on the horizen. It was announced today that the network has given a 13-episode order for a drama series called Sugarloaf. Upon hearing a title of the series, I immediately thought it must have something to do with skiing but alas, that’s not to be the case… unless they have skiing down in Florida.
I’m not a skier but I have heard of the Sugerloaf ski resort. There’s also one called Sugarbush but in the case of this new A&E series, the show is set to take place in Sugerloaf, Florida. As in Sugarloaf Key? Perhaps. Here’s what The Hollywood Reporter posted about the premise of the series:
Australian actor Matt Passmore will be playing the role of Longworth. Most, if not all of his TV work consists of Australian shows, including Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities and The Cut. This A&E series could be his chance to gain a new audience as he makes his debut on American television.
